Clothing selection is the number one question that clients ask us. The goal is to direct the viewer's eye to the face or faces in a portrait. For individuals, simple tops in solid colors are best. Bold stripes and prints do not photograph well. In a family group, careful clothing selection makes the difference between a portrait that appears to be unrelated individuals to one in which every member of the family "belongs" to the group.
